From Como train station to the property the easiest thing to do -in case you have heavy luggage to carry- is a taxi. It takes 7 minutes, for a cost of approximately 15 Eur. Ferry-boat is an excellent option for reaching the property and visiting the lake, as there is a boat stop right in front of our Villa (the name of this stop is “Tavernola”). The ferryboat will take you to the property from Como center in 8 minutes. For a detailed timetable, please visit www.navigazionelaghi.it The bus is also a possibility. As you walk down the stairs after the exit of the station, you will find a bus stop: Bus line number 6, and number 11, are both good for reaching the property. From Como center you might consider taking a walk; it takes approximately 30 minutes to get to the property, walking across the garden of the Villa Olmo.  

From Malpensa Airport to the property the easiest way is -of course- by Taxi.  I can make a reservation for you with a private taxi company, for a rate of around 150/160 Eur. About public transportation, I suggest taking a bus (WWW.FLIBCO.COM), or the Malpensa express train (www.trenord.it). In this case, please remember that you must get off at the Saronno to Como.
