THE VILLA

The Villa is located right in front of the town of Como, with a 180 degrees view of the lake. Como city center can be reached by car, bike, bus, or even by ferry-boat as a public ferry-boat transportation service is available. This service - located 50 meters from our property - will take you directly to Como city center in 8 minutes and to the other destinations of the lake. For those who enjoy walking, the Old Town of Como is also reachable following a panoramic path (approx. 40 minutes walk) alongside the lake. Private parking available on site, no need for reservation.
HOW TO GET TO THE PROPERTY
From Como train station : From Como San Giovanni train station to the property the easiest thing to do -in case you will have heavy luggage with you- is Taxi. It is a 5 minutes ride, for a cost of approximatley 15 Eur. Ferry boat is an excellent option for reaching the property and visiting the lake, as there is a boat station right in front of our Villa (the name of this station is Tavernola). The ferry boat will take you to the property from Como center in 8 minutes. The Bus option is also available; Bus line number 6 and number 11 will take you to the property from Como. The closest bus stop is after the stairs of the train station; walk down the stairs and cross the street.
From Malpensa Airport : Rates of private taxi companies range from 150 Eur (for a cash payment) to 170 Eur. The Malpensa express train will take you from the Airport Terminal to Saronno. in Saranno you need to get off and take another train to Como lago station.
From Milan Bergamo Airport : Rates of private taxi companies range from 220 Eur (for a cash payment) to 240 Eur. Several bus shuttle lines will take you from the Airport Terminal to Milano Centrale train station. Then you will have to take a train from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni station.
